“Be strong, be fearless, be beautiful. And believe that anything is possible when you have the right people there to support you.”
~Misty Copeland
When the world starts to look like a dark and horrible place, take a moment to find the good that people are doing all around us. I reached out to the subscribers to my newsletter asking them to share stories of people helping people. Not surprisingly, they responded. As these stories come in, I will be posting them here and cross-posting to the Reluctant Networker Facebook page.
The first one up is from a long-time acquaintance and friend, Tammy Broderick. As my wife is fond of saying: Food is not simply sustenance. It’s how we show we care.
I hope you enjoy these rays of sunshine.

This story comes to you from a long time follower of your news letter.
This is Tammy Broderick. The story I want to share happened to Don and I. A year ago Don was sick and in the hospital. I had brought him home and within a couple of hours after being home members of our business came by the house and dropped off dinner explaining that others would be providing us with food for the next few days. Imagine my surprise when she also explained that there would be a group of fellow team members come over and help us with the outside yard work that we had not gotten to the previous fall. That Saturday the leaves were raked up, my gutters cleaned, my trees trimmed and my flower beds were ready to have flowers in them. This was so unexpected and very much appreciated.
This same group that my husband Don and I are members of two years ago learned about an organization called Underground Railroad. This group helps track down and break up sex trafficking rings in this and other countries. The Life Leadership business raised over $750,000 dollars thru matching donations and a pushup contest to help this worthy cause.
I could go on and on with all the good things that this company does for others less fortunate than ourselves. I am really proud to be a part of this company.
